The moment you walk through the door, you’ll feel like you’ve stepped into Meg Ryan’s charming bookshop from You’ve Got Mail. In fact, the owner mentioned that the bookstore in the film was inspired by theirs! The atmosphere is warm and nostalgic, and their children’s section and rare books collection are especially impressive.

This is one of the finest independent bookstores you’ll find anywhere in the world. The collection is expertly curated, everyone on staff is a bonafide bookworm and they’ll happily wrap your book in classy paper if you’re giving it as a gift. We shop here on purpose all year round.

This is literally heaven. I love this bookstore so much, because they have classic authors too such as Shakespeare and Austen. The prices of the books are also reasonable. 100% coming back to this place for more books!

Very quaint place I loved it! Pet friendly as well. They had a good selection of books and I got myself a poetry book while there

Corner Bookstore at 1313 Madison Ave. in New York City. This bookstore is small but big enough to carry the best books. It is nostalgic and warm. If they don’t have the book that you are looking for they will order it right away. Recent photos of a sold out book signing of My Selma. See any faces you know?

Great selection of classic adult and children books. Great number of art books too. Very nice wrapping service during the holidays. The postcard selection could be better but overall it's a lovely store.

Literally spotted this gem while walking the streets and we both went “oh a corner bookstore” at the same time we realized that was the actual name. Great selection of bestsellers and genres ranging from art, history, drama, fiction… The doors were open and the store was welcoming. Staff was friendly and open to conversation!

A cozy, lovely bookstore! 📚📖✨ •I passed by the Corner Bookstore on my way to Museum of NYC. So glad I went in! •Very cute, cozy vibe inside. The books are also well-organized. There are a lot of great books and newly released ones. There’s variety of children’s books as well. •The staff are kind and greets you with a smile.
